The Bromance Book Club by Lyssa Kay Adams

Hellooo!

It's the second entry for today hihi. The next book imma talk about is The Bromance Book Club by Lyssa Kay Adams. This book was so funny and entertaining, but also so heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time. I bet your feelings will be all over the place when reading this one. One of my favourite reads so far! The concept of this book is so unique and I love that it is not cliche. This book circulates on the marriage issues between Gavin and his wife Thea but then the way Gavin builds up his confidence and how he changes to a better husband for his wife just makes me so happy. I love how the author writes the characters and there's no boring part in this book.

Rate: 4/5⭐

I love how the author highlighted toxic masculinity and I think this book will help to bring another perspective on how we should view relationships between a man and a woman. Gavin is basically a baseball player, not to mention a very famous one but he also deals with a condition (which you should find out in the book) but Thea is so supportive and loving, not giving a chance to anyone to disrespect his husband. When the problem emerges between them, we can clearly see how egoistic and lies in a relationship will not help in solving a problem, instead, it is gonna make it harder and worse.

It is always a good idea to start lowering our egos and try to talk through things, be responsible and maybe, start over. Gavin, on the other hand, finds in clueless about how to attract his wife and save his marriage. When his fellow friends come up to him and told him about this secret club to help him redeem his wife's love towards him, well, just like we would respond, he just laughs it off because hello? it's a freaking book club? sounds un-tempting much. He then gave it a go and learns so many things from the romance book but did he succeed in getting his wife and save his marriage? that's for you to find out. so read it guys, especially if you were looking for a good light read which will make you feel all sorta way. this is the book for you. I guess that's it for today! See you in another review soon :)

Frost Blood by Elly Blake

Hello loves!

It's been too long since I've last updated anything on this blog but today I am going to try to give a new start to my blog. Not only I will be talking about random things in my life, now I am going to start sharing my passion for books. Last week, I finished reading Frost Blood by Elly Blake. This book is the first book of the Frost Blood Saga. Truthfully, this book left me gasping for another taste of reading it for the first time. I. CAN'T. STOP. THINKING. ABOUT. IT.

Frost Blood cover (that I own)

Well, this book is about Frost Blood and Fire Blood. They were rivals, they don't favor each other and they do not live with each other. Fire Bloods are rare because apparently, The Frost Blood King thinks that it is a good idea to get rid of them for good. Ruby the Fire Blood, however, lives a peaceful life with her mother in the Frost Blood territorial country, disguising as healers but suddenly their lives were destroyed by the sudden attack on the village they reside causing her mother to be killed. As sad as it sounded, Ruby continued her life being trapped in the prison until finally, she got a chance to revenge for her mother's death. oof, I think I really need to brace myself. These whole reviewing things are making me stressed out, it's so hard t talk about this book without giving out the spoilers haha! So might as well stop here. All I can say is this book is gonna get you through a fantastic ride of a roller coaster. The romance, the tension, the anger, the sadness are all gonna make you ask for more. I can't wait to get the next books (Fire Blood & Night Blood) because I know they're gonna be even better reads. Just look at how many tabs I put through this book. It's THAT good, guys.

I love the world-building so much it was easy to understand so I think this book will be a great choice if you want to start reading fantasy. The characters? They have my whole heart and soul and my being itself. Arcus is just too attractive and the way he treated Ruby got me smiling so so hard my cheeks hurt. Oh by the way Ruby is a Fire Blood while Arcus my bae, on the other hand, is  Frost Blood so yes they were rivals and this book is an amazing book of enemies to lovers trope. There were just so many things to discuss but I might as well shove you the book for you to experience yourself. Read this book blindly, if possible. Don't read any other review (apart from this one :p) because I know you will love it just as much as I do.
